Twhirl is a social software desktop client, based on the Adobe AIR platform.
I know it sound Chinese, but basically Twhirl is a desktop application (a software program that you download to your PC) through which you can send your tweets and receive messages. Its really quick and fun, with a great interface !

So instead of logging in to Twitter everytime, you just post through Twhirl. It also has other cool tools which you can check out at their site.
